The French MMA Championships will start on 1 June 2019. Bouts will be held according to both traditional MMA rules and the Olympic MMA rules promoted by GAMMA.

Following the results of this tournament, the French Federation will announce the final composition of the French National Team that will participate in the 2019 GAMMA World Championships.

About the World Championships

GAMMA will hold its World MMA Championships in Singapore in November.

The tournament will be the largest amateur event ever organised in the history of non-professional mixed martial arts.

National teams will come from 60 countries around the world to compete in the following disciplines of GAMMA:

  • MMA
  • Light MMA
  • Submission Grappling

Training for the numerous referees and judges necessary to officiate the MMA World Championships which will be held with innovative regulations, in addition to traditional mixed martial arts, has already begun.

GAMMA officials will be trained in three special seminars held in Europe across 2018 and 2019.
