The Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts (GAMMA) is please to announce that it has reached a TV deal for the European MMA Championships 2021.

On his second day of a three-day official visit to Czech Republic, GAMMA President Alexander Engelhardt met with Vladimir Drbohlav, responsible of Sports Department from Czech TV- ČT SPORT (Česká Televize), the largest Sports TV broadcaster in Czech Republic covering over 97% of the broadcast reach.

A successful meeting was held with a broadcast agreement reached for GAMMA Prague European Championships where Czech Republic for the first time in its history will be broadcasting a Mixed Martial Arts Event on National Television for all five days of competition.

The tentative schedule is scheduled to be ‘live’ three hours before the UEFA European Football Championships 2021 where the Czech National team have already qualified, giving us an incredible opportunity to showcase and promote our incredible sport to all of Czech Republic.

We are excited to establish a detailed and structured TV deal with ČT SPORT and its local television partners to ensure a wonderful experience for our viewers at home.

This is an incredible opportunity for all of European mixed martial athletes to unleash their potential and help us create an inclusive and positive environment for the whole Czech Community in the city of Prague so that we can move a step forward in our global mission of promoting our sport.
