AIMMAF President Aditya PS also appreciated Mr. Sagnik’s effort to develop MMA in Assam from the grassroots level.

Assam is the sentinel of north-east India and gateway to the North-Eastern States and is commonly called Seven Sisters State. The State is close to India’s international borders with Bangladesh and Bhutan. Assam is surrounded by Bhutan and Arunachal Pradesh on the north, Manipur, Nagaland, and Arunachal Pradesh on the east, and Meghalaya, Tripura, and Mizoram on the south. Developing MMA in Assam will play a very pivotal role to spread MMA awareness to other six states in North East India which is very much neglected.
