The Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts (GAMMA) is pleased to announce the strengthening of its global communications with the signing today of a partnership with Lausanne-based MSM PR & Communications.

As the global governing body for amateur Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), GAMMA’s mission is to improve the stewardship of the sport while developing it in a healthy, safe, and inclusive manner.
Led by experienced professionals who are passionate about growing the amateur side of the sport in line with the rise of professional MMA, GAMMA has turned to MSM to increase the visibility of the organisation, shape and amplify its messaging, and help it cement its role as the world’s leading amateur MMA federation.
“As our global initiatives continue to increase, it is important for us to ensure that our stories are being told in a way that not only raises awareness of GAMMA and amateur MMA but also reflects our values and mission,” said GAMMA President Alexander Engelhardt. “Partnering with MSM was a natural choice for us as they are fully aligned with our vision. We look forward to a fruitful relationship together.”
Strategically located in the Olympic Capital of Lausanne, Switzerland, MSM is the premier PR and communication agency working in sport.
MSM works with clients across all sectors of sport, including International Federations, National Olympic Committees, teams, athletes, and sports brands. The agency has helped clients deliver major multisport events, bid to be included on the Olympic sports programme, and successfully navigate the political complexities of the global sports world. In addition to specializing in event communications, MSM also delivers industry-leading content for traditional and digital media channels.
“MSM has been a huge fan of MMA for many years, so we are excited to partner with GAMMA on its journey to further develop the sport at the amateur level,” said MSM CEO Andrew Mitchell. “We are impressed with the vision of the GAMMA leadership and its plans to grow the sport in a professional and sustainable way. From a communications standpoint, we know exactly what’s required to get GAMMA where it wants to go.”
GAMMA’s global membership is currently made up of 110 national bodies. With a zero-tolerance approach to extreme violence, GAMMA and its strategic partner, the ONE Championship, set themselves apart from other MMA organisations.
Following a successful Asian Championship in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan from 26-28 August, GAMMA is set to host its European Championship in November and World Championship in December.
