The Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts (GAMMA) has announced a partnership with the dedicated social media platform for the combat sports community, FightScout.
FightScout is a new platform that allows users to explore and connect to the combat sports community around the world. Like the functionality of LinkedIn, users can grow their network with athletes, managers, and organisations, find fights, find managers and even find events looking for fighters. All of this has been designed to help users have a successful career in combat sports.
The creators of Fight Scout come from the combat sports industry, including professional MMA fighters and competitors in various combat disciplines, world class judges, referees, managers, and promoters. Their vision was to create a platform that benefits everyone, regardless of combat style, role or location.
GAMMA has decided to create this partnership to bring additional opportunities to its community to grow their networks, promote their activities, market events, and potentially generate revenue using the platform to create and monetise content.
Announcing the partnership, GAMMA President Alexander Engelhardt said, “we are always looking at innovative ways to support our community and to find ways to stay connected while showcasing the incredible value of our sport. We have all experienced the power and reach of LinkedIn and we are excited to be part of this new journey with FightScout for the future of our sport.”
The Founder of FightScout, Lubomir Guedjev, who is credited as being one of the top personalities responsible for the rise of MMA and Jiu-Jitsu in the Middle East and Bulgaria explained his reasons for the partnership. “We know how important engaging with the international federations is if we want the platform to be a success. We are delighted to be working with GAMMA and thank them for their trust in us. We are confident that together we will be able to provide even more great opportunities for the GAMMA community.”
