For the first time on French soil, after three editions of the National Championships were held in Switzerland due to the pandemic, the 4th edition of the French National Championships will take place this weekend in Grigny, south of Paris with record entries for the senior men, women and veterans competition. The competition will be the opportunity to select the French teams for the next GAMMA European and World Championships.

Hosts of the event the National Kenpo Commission (CNK), affiliated to GAMMA, and the Ile de France League of the Federation of Defence Clubs and ready to welcome the athletes this weekend. In hosting this event the CNK are demonstrating their continued determination to promote and organise MMA in France.
President of the CNK and representative of GAMMA in France, Eric La Rocca said, “being able to organise this 4th French Championship on national soil with our partners is great for us and creates even more opportunities in the future. It promises to be a great step forward for MMA in France”.
Fabien Bossus, President of the Ile de France League of the Federation of Defence Clubs added his excitement ahead of the event, “It is with pleasure that we have decided with our partners to organise this intergenerational event for the first time in our history. It is a great that we have established a solid relationship with the National Kenpo & MMA Commission to make this happen.”
