French combat sports fans were treated to a great evening of martial arts competition in La Chapelle-de-la-Tour, located in the Isère region of southeast France last week. After four events organised in Ruy, the 5th edition of the Double Mixed took place at the traditional boulodrome where several hundred spectators crowded around the iconic venue to see athletes from all over France compete.

There is something special about events in La Chapelle-de-la-Tour as they bring together three generations of families. For nearly 20 years, the love for martial arts has been passed from generation to generation and this created a friendly environment for the GAMMA French MMA community to be reunited alongside a knowledgeable and enthusiastic crowd.

The event featured five MMA bouts, alongside several other combat events which gave the public a chance to discover multiple disciplines.

Commenting on the event, which was co-organised by the CSRBF club of BF SAVATE of Ruy and the KCNI of Kenpô MMA of La Chapelle de la Tour, GAMMA France representative Eric La Rocca said, “It is simply impressive when the covered boulodrome of La Chapelle De La Tour turns into a ring to host a prestigious gala of combat sports.”

Congratulations go to the organisers who provided a great platform to highlight the respect, discipline, courage, and the MMA values of athletes of all ages.
