Athlete registration is underway for the 2024 GAMMA Pan American Championships, with just 10 days left for national teams to sign-up.

Competition kicks off in just one month’s time on 5 July in Rosario, Argentina, with athlete official weigh-ins and medical clearance scheduled for 3 July.

Hosted by GAMMA ARGENTINA (Asociacion Civil con Personeria Juridica de Artes Marciales y Deportes de Combate), the three-day tournament in MMA and Striking MMA for seniors and youths will be staged at the Club Náutico. Drawing talent from the Global Association of Mixed Martial Arts’ membership across North, Central and South America and the Caribbean, the Championships will broadcast live internationally online.

GAMMA President Alexander Engelhardt said:

“There’s just ten days left to register for GAMMA’s inaugural Pan American Championships in South America, which is a hotbed for talent in MMA. As an athlete-centred organisation, GAMMA heavily subsidises the participation of competitors and teams, so money should not be a barrier. If you live on the Pan-American continent and have the athletes, or the talent yourself, and are seeking international opportunities on your doorstep, I encourage you not to miss out. Contact your national federation or GAMMA today about how to apply. Online registration ends on 15 June.”

Lucio Gianni, Director of Events for GAMMA ARGENTINA said:

“At GAMMA ARGENTINA, we are organising an unprecedented Championships in America. We want the best athletes from the continent to enjoy a unique and unforgettable experience, which will surely provide a launchpad for their sports careers. We look forward to welcoming you in Rosario to experience several days of competition at a level that will exceed all expectations.”

  • There are 17 senior weight categories open for entry, including male and female, in the two disciplines of MMA and Striking MMA.

  • Participating nations can enter a maximum of 2 athletes per weight category into each tournament.
